
The John Buchan Society (Honorary President Lord Tweedsmuir) was founded in 1979 to perpetuate the memory of John Buchan and to promote a wider understanding and appreciation of his life and works.
Among the Society’s aims are: to hold regular meetings and social gatherings (in the UK or locally by arrangement) to produce a Journal (to be distributed at no extra charge to all members of the Society except Associate Members) to encourage the publication of a Complete Edition of Buchan’s Works (including all those currently out of print) to co-operate with the John Buchan Centre at Broughton, Scotland

A 'discounted' ten-year membership is available for a single payment of £100 (UK members) or £120 (overseas members).

Overseas members are encouraged to pay by bank electronic transfer. Payment may be made, however, by cheque in the local currency (e.g., dollars or euros) at the current rate of exchange, but reluctantly we have to make an extra charge of £20 to cover bank conversion/collection charges. Note that 10-year membership would only incur this charge once. Postal mandates/orders cannot be accepted.
