The John Buchan Society (Honorary President Lord Tweedsmuir) was founded in 1979 to perpetuate the memory of John Buchan and to promote a wider understanding and appreciation of his life and works.
Among the Society’s aims are: to hold regular meetings and social gatherings (in the UK or locally by arrangement) to produce a Journal (to be distributed at no extra charge to all members of the Society except Associate Members) to encourage the publication of a Complete Edition of Buchan’s Works (including all those currently out of print) to co-operate with the John Buchan Centre at Broughton, Scotland
Membership introduction
On joining, all members receive copies of a previous Journal and the most recent Newsletter. They are formally welcomed and introduced to other members by a notice in the next Newsletter. Membership runs from 1 February until 31January and a Membership card is sent out each year.Category |

Overseas Members may pay by cheque in their local currency (e.g., dollars or euros) at the current rate of exchange. Please add £1 to cover conversion charges. Postal mandates/orders cannot be accepted.
A 'discounted' ten-year membership is available for a single payment of £100 and for overseas members, £120.
